May 18, 2013

I’ve ported (and totally re written) Super Pixel Jumper for PS3! Use the left and right directional buttons to move and the X button to jump.

Dance Clone v0.6 – PS3

April 23, 2013

Here is the first look at the inexplicably popular on Wii but extremely buggy and consequently abandoned and now remade Dance Clone. It isn’t much of a game yet. But I’m a lot more excited about working on it now that I have a fresh start and I’m going to be releasing it for both Wii and PS3 (starting here with PS3). So you can expect updates in the future. I’ll try to even get more done before this months psx-scene deadline (you can already vote for it here).

It controls with the directional buttons. If anyone has a PS3 dance mat (the one that came with Dance Dance Revolution for PS3, a third party mat or even a PS2 dance mat with a converter) then I would greatly appreciate it if you would test it out. I don’t have one and I think it might work but I’m not sure how the buttons on it map or even if it will be possible for me to support them.

It was tested on Rogero’s 4.40 CFW.

As an added bonus, here is a resigned copy of my game Avoidance that (thanks to z3roblu3′s CFW 4.xx Resigner Script) will now play on newer custom firmware (just like Dance Clone). Though I’m sure somebody else has probably re signed and re posted it by now.

Wii Chatter v0.3 – Wii

April 16, 2013

I’ve updated Wii Chatter!

The new version features a few additional keys on the keyboard (including the long request question mark) and may or may not have partial USB keyboard support (USB keyboards don’t seem to be working with any homebrew for me so I can’t really test it until I figure out what that’s about).

The maximum length for a post has been slightly increased.

It automatically refreshes once every 15 seconds (as long as you are scrolled down to the bottom and the cursor is off screen).

It looks different and you can randomize the color scheme at any time by pressing 2 or reset it by pressing 1. If there is demand for it I’ll setup a proper color selection menu and have the color scheme saved and loaded.

The frame rate has improved.

Since I finally updated the libraries I’m using there shouldn’t be any more problems with new Wiimotes and I’m sure there are probably other obscure bugs I’m not aware of that have been corrected.

They Do Not Die 2 v0.9 – Wii

April 2, 2013

Here is an updated version of they Do Not Die 2 for Wii!

Nothing about the game itself should be any different.

But I’ve updated LibOGC for the first time in a long time. So the game is now compatible with new wiimotes and there are likely a ton of other fixed bugs.

I’ve also updated the home menu that I use. Now the right window in the main home menu supports links and the network button has been replaced with a back button that only appears when browsing pages.

If I remember correctly the last release of They Do Not Die 2 was before I had added any kind of network functionality to the home menu.

Avoidance v1.3 – PS3

February 27, 2013

Here is a redone port of Avoidance for PS3.

I had released a PS3 port ages ago but it was busted and really just unplayable. So I completely rewrote everything to do with rendering and it now runs incredibly smoothly.

Just use the analog stick (either one) to move around and avoid the approaching red squares.

P.S. you can vote for this in the monthly PSX-Scene contest!
